The 3-Step Aragon Filtering Approach

Although we don’t expect you to take an Aragon filter apart to see how it works (you can if you like!), we thought you would still be interested in knowing what it does to the tap water you pour in – and – exactly how it changes the water so positively and so quickly…

It’s a three-step process:

• Step 1: Mechanical Cleaning (removes solids, even ones you can’t see)
• Step 2: Ion-Exchange Cleaning (the magic happens here – hardness removed, and the vast majority of impurities too)
• Step 3: Sorption-cleaning (activated charcoal and silver removes even more impurities and hardness)

Let’s go through these quickly…

Step 1 – Mechanical Cleaning

This removes suspended particles as large as pieces of rust, down to particles you can’t see with the naked eye.

Step 2 – Ion-Exchange Cleaning

This is the most unique part of our filtering process. Here’s a non-scientific summary:

During this stage, the water travels through the Aragon 3 filtering material that acts like a maze removing impurities and hardness. They get trapped in the maze, leaving just much purer, softened water, coming out the other side.

Step 3 – Sorption Cleaning

Whereas some water filters use activated charcoal to remove impurities and that’s pretty much it, we make this just one of our three filtering approaches.

Plus, unlike many filters we also include silver here which helps stop bacterial growth within the filter. This is a step many other filters don’t take.
